Many of us think that if we only had more “willpower” or found the right diet that we would be successful. We guilt trip ourselves and feel  like we "should" do more.

We have fallen prey to the marketing that tells us that one specific thing has to change, or that heavily processed foods really are "good" for us.  That we just have to eat less, and workout. It's a sort of shiny object syndrome that has us leap on something that sounds like it will give us the immediate change we want.

We all know that feeling, and later we realize that it was ineffective and we feel like crap, because we fell prey, again. 

It doesn't have to stay that way! 

We have to shift our mindset about our relationship with ourselves. Ignore the outside influence for awhile.  

We have to shift our nutrition and habits to get our body in balance.

When we focus on making changes in these two areas, our minds, and bodies are working TOGETHER, and long-term change & management is EASY!

How do the meetings work?

We meet every Wednesday on Zoom, meeting style so that everyone can be seen and interact. 

Meetings are streamed into the Facebook Group will be available for replay, if you can't make it to the live session submit your questions in advance and they will be answered during the call. 

Each week for 8 weeks you will receive emails that include a Program Guide, Mindset Sheets, guidance on what to eat and when, how to create balanced meals.

What is a Health Coach?

Quoted from the Health Coach Alliance:
“A Health Coach is a practitioner that has been trained as an expert in how to influence lasting change as it relates to health, mindset, and behaviours. The goal of the health coach is to empower their clients to create new lifelong habits by investigating the psychology and root causes behind the issues they are facing that prevent change.

The relationship between that of the health coach and the client is one that gives power to the client and motivates them make their own positive health choices. This is achieved through mentoring and support in the areas of nutrition, and wellness.”

Are you a Nutritionist or Dietitian?

No. I want to be clear that I am not a Dietitian or Nutritionist, this means that I cannot prescribe a diet specific to a health condition.

Is this covered by my insurance?

While Health Coaching as a profession is not typically included in any list of approved services for Group Plan Insurance at this time, some employers offer a special spending account through their plans or directly through the business (Usually $500 per year) called different things such as a Health Allowance, Health Spending Account, Flexible Spending Plan etc. Services can be claimed under this offering should it be available.
